     Brief Summary of the Sculptor’s Career

     1973 Born in Hakodate City, Hokkaido, Japan

     1979 Immersed myself in collecting insects

     1991 Started to collect fossil and bone

     1996 Graduated from the sculpture department of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (Below is called “the university”)

     1998 Completed the master’s course in sculpture of the university

     2011 Started to raise “bonsai” (potted plant) −sculpture of plant

     1998 Won the University Museum Purchase Prize of the university

     1999 Won the Grand Prix of ARTHILL MIYOSIGAOKA ’99 SCULPTURE FESTA (Miyoshi Chou, Aichi Prefecture )

     2003 Won the Grand Prix of SAKIRA Sculpture Competition

     2009 Won the Townspeople Prize of Cherry Tree Forest Sculpture Contest Record of Public Installation
